The Communications Office in General College is responsible for internal and external communications for the college. This includes college publications such as brochures, newsletters, and Access, the General College magazine; oversight of the college Web site; liaison with University Relations; and media relations.

Publications

• Publishes GC MEMO, the staff e-mail newsletter, biweekly and ACCESS, the General College magazine, three times a year (November, February, and May)

Create brochures, posters, books, and other publications and advises and assists those creating their own

 

 

Web

• Maintains college Web site, including department and unit microsites and staff pages

Media

• Promotes positive coverage of the college’s programs and people

• Responds to media and other information requests

• Advises staff on media relations
